The Town of Eden has contracted with Waste Management for Refuse and Recycling of Solid Waste, Bulk items and White Goods.

Electronic Recycling
In accordance with the disposal ban requirements of Section 27-2611 of the Electronic Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act, on Jan. 1, 2015, it became unlawful for residential households in New York State to place electronic equipment at the curb for disposal. Erie County-sponsored electronic drop-off events are held at various times.

Tire & Scrap Metal Drop Off
The Town of Eden holds an annual tire & scrap metal drop off event at the Eden Highway Garage. Stay tuned for the May 2026 date.
Hazardous Waste
Hazardous household materials are common products used around the home almost every day. A substance is considered hazardous if it ignites easily, reacts or explodes when mixed with other substances, or is corrosive or toxic.
Unwanted materials should be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. Details on how to properly dispose of such products can be found on the Erie County Department of Environment & Planning website or by calling 716-858-6800.
