We have had numerous reports of residents receiving calls which have the Eden Police Department phone number on the caller ID. The calls in question were scam calls attempting to obtain personal information by stating there were arrest warrants issued for them. If anyone receives a call from out number that sounds suspicious, they should hang up and call this department directly.
