Increased COVID–19 cases in Town of Eden
For Immediate Release:
The Town of Eden has been in contact with the Deputy County Executive’s Office as well as the Erie County Department of Health. We learned last night that over the past 48 hours, there have been 38 new Covid-19 cases reported in the Town of Eden. This is related to a single source and all contract tracing has been conducted. Individuals with a positive test result have been placed in isolation and close contacts are under quarantine. We have been assured that the risk to our residents is low relating to this particular incident. Please let this be a reminder that this pandemic is not over. We urge all of our residents to continue to practice safe social distancing and to wear face coverings when in public or at social settings that a 6-foot distance cannot be achieved.
