DID YOU KNOW….

It is against the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law (Sec. 1219) to deposit snow or any other material on public highways and sidewalks.
No person shall plow, blow or shovel snow onto or across a highway or sidewalk.
Definition of Highway: The entire width between the boundary lines of every way publicly maintained when any part thereof is open to the use of the public for purposes of vehicle travel.
It is the homeowner’s responsibility to keep snow on your own property or proper steps will have to be taken to prosecute violators.
We need to work together to keep our roads open during the snow season.
