Assessor’s Office Overview

The Assessor’s Office is responsible for setting fair and accurate values for over 3600 parcels within the Town of Eden. Their responsibilities are not limited to setting property values alone.  They also strive to help residents better understand the assessment process and take advantage of tax exemptions that the Town of Eden can provide.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Town of Eden is conducting a town-wide reassessment of all properties. The reassessment will go into effect beginning with the 2027 school tax bill.

We know this is important information for every property owner. We want to ensure residents understand why the Town is conducting a reassessment, what the process involves, and what it will mean for you and your property. The last time a reassessment was undertaken was in 1994.

Our goal during this process is transparency, understanding and fairness for all property owners in the Town of Eden.
