All-inclusive Playground Coming to the Town of Eden

Volunteers needed to construct the playground!

The Town of Eden has secured grants from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Erie County Legislator John Mills, Erie County Community Development Block Grant program and the Eden Community Foundation to bring a new all-inclusive playground to Swartz Field.  Some of the fantastic features include a ZipKrooz (zipline) with a bucket seat, a wheel chair accessible We-Go-Round, sensory play center and new swings all on a rubber surface.

The existing playground has been removed, but the remainder of Swartz Field will remains open, including the pavilion, baseball diamonds and soccer fields.

We are asking members of the community to help us assemble the playground on September 20, 2025.
